The exterior and interior are both very high quality smooth Italian leather. The A4 size has 4 rings to fit Filofax inserts and Filofax pages. Inside, the left hand side has 6 horizontal cut edge credit card pockets, CD pocket, and a pen loop with a full-length pocket behind. The right hand side has a notepad slip with pen loop. The cover is is closed with a press stud and leather tab.
